About me

 hi... nice to meet you

      For as long as I can remember, I've always wanted to be in a field where I got to learn about the human body. This led me to my first degree at the University of British Columbia where I got an honours degree specializing in Cell and Developmental biology. After graduation I knew I wanted to take my curiosity outside of the lab and apply it to a more people-centered career. Slowly sprinkles of Naturopathic Medicine began falling into my life. I immediately resonated with the foundations grounded in human connection with nature and the growing body of scientific evidence supporting the medicine. 

 

     Having spent time growing up both in Vancouver, Canada and Cairo, Egypt - I  carry a unique perspective that drives my curiosity towards science as well as culture, human experience and where they intersect. When I’m not in the clinic you can find me either at a Lagree class, spin class, anywhere by the water, in the kitchen experimenting with whole food ingredients or on a mountain (only if the sun is out). I’m also trying to teach myself film photography - and I welcome any advice on this one. 

 

My goal is to meet patients wherever they are at and support their health through a plan that is not only attainable but sustainable. Can't wait to chat all things your body!
